Simon MacDonald
I am a systems architect, web designer, code hacker, and a generally techy sort of guy, who has worked on and played with computers for nearly 50 years (from IBM mainframes, DOS and Windows PCs, and Android devices).
Professionally I'm now semi-retired, though I still do a bit of work if it interests me. I'm originally from the Scottish Highlands, but most of my working life was spent in London. For the last 20 or so years I've made my home in the People's Republic of South Yorkshire.
I love food, both eating out, and cooking, and I'm rather partial to a good beer.
My personal websites:
- Lemon Slice Digital - My web design business, which is now in a state of stasis.
- South Yorkshire Food - my food website, which is where I occasionally publish recipes.
- House Specials - not a website but my new cookbook.
